Objectives

At the end of the module the students are able to systematically design and configure a modern control concept for different application-oriented control problems, to implement the control concept in an experimental testbed , and to critically discuss and evaluate the results.

8 practice termins The lab covers the following topics: phase-locked loop, feedback linearization, switched control, robust control, hybrid control systems, sliding mode control, impedance control in telepresence, observer design and LQ control

Prerequisites

Foundations of linear and nonlinear control. The following courses are recommended: Control Theory 1 Dynamical Systems
